2008 Much like 2007 was a Good Year for Vicari and Smoke.  We competed with vigor and enthusiasm to repeat the accomplishment of 2007.  Smoke won many races at the local tracks and competed at the Eastern Conference Jr. Dragster Nationals in Bristol, Tn. We accomplished everything we expected to, and fought for the Belle Rose Track Championship right down to the last race.  More than that we feel we have taken a young driver and given him the knowledge and ability to compete on a more competitive level by preparing him for competition in a Vicari Super Comp Dragster.  2009 will see Smoke in one of our Vicari Motorsports Team Cars and hopefully standing in the winners circle at numerous NHRA & IHRA events. We are very proud of Smoke and his past performance.  At Vicari We firmly believe that our developmental program has been a success in the past and we will be looking for a replacement for Smoke in our Jr. Dragster for 2009.

In 2006 Vicari Motorsports and Vincent Landry of Electric Motors Inc., formed a developmental team to bring young drivers to the next step in drag racing competition. Vincent Landry ll (Smoke) was the choice. Smoke won numerous local events in the Vicari Team car and competed at the 2006 Jr. Dragster Nationals in Bristol, Tn.  We're starting a New Year with a New Attitude, A New Motor, A Fresh Half Scale and a lot of enthusiasm. Smoke started 2007 at State Capitol Raceway, Baton Rouge, La.  The race was The "Bracket News Nationals", The Goal was To Win. At the end of the day the last one standing was "Smoke",  with The Team Vicari Jr. Dragster,  the Trophy, and a Check.

Thanks Smoke For  A "Job Well Done"
